- What is GlassCode?
- GlassCode is a native macOS AI IDE built for local AI workflows. It lets you write code with private AI assistance directly on your Mac, with first-class Ollama integration.
- Does GlassCode require an internet connection?
- No. When you use local models through Ollama, GlassCode works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed if you choose to use a cloud model provider.
- Which models does GlassCode support?
- GlassCode integrates with Ollama, so you can use any model you have pulled locally. You can switch between models without leaving the editor.
- Is my code private?
- Yes. When using Ollama, your code and prompts never leave your Mac. If you select a cloud provider, prompts are sent only to that provider you chose — never to us.
- How does GlassCode relate to GlassForge?
- GlassCode is powered by GlassForge and works alongside it to bring local, private AI tooling to your entire development workflow.
- When will GlassCode be available?
